The TesaVisio 300 Direct Computer Control (DCC), a non-contact video measuring system from Brown & Sharpe, combines a high-definition CCD camera with PC-DMIS Vision software to measure complex parts.
The system provides an 11.81" (300 mm) × 7.87" (200 mm) × 5.91" (150 mm) XYZ measuring range. A high-resolution image of the part feature is projected on a 17" monitor. The construction includes pre-stressed carriages mounted on precise monorails. Coordinate stages, along with the vertical axis, are displaced by joystick-controlled DC servomotors. According to the company, this allows the user to quickly locate part features. It is also conducive to motor-driven execution of the part program.
