DMG / Mori Seiki USA will demonstrate a range of gear machining capabilities, highlighting gearMill software and Sandvik Coromant’s InvoMilling process. InvoMilling will be demonstrated on the company’s NT-series multitasking machines and NLX-series three-axis lathes, while the DMU-series and NT machines will showcase five-axis gear-machining capabilities. Traditional gear-machining processes such as hobbing, gashing and broaching will also be displayed on the NLX three-axis lathes. A variety of gears, including spiral bevels, spur, helical and internal gears, will be machined on these platforms.
