To ensure that cranes used in demanding industrial processes are up and running at all times, crane manufacturer Konecranes offers Truconnect, a remote services product family. The first two products in this family are the Truview data-reporting service and Trucare full-service package.
 
Based on remote connection between the crane and a Konecranes remote center, Truview a realistic view of their crane’s operating conditions through continuous data collection. All information from the crane is automatically sent to the remote center to be further processed into reports. The data-reporting service can be installed on older cranes through a retrofitting package. According to the company, it can install the remote connection for a common crane it has a maintenance contract with the customer.

Reports can be viewed over the Internet by both the user and Konecranes maintenance staff. This helps the company improve users’ safety and provide quality maintenance.

Trucare is a five-year, full-service package that the company offers with new industrial CXT cranes that are still within their warranty period.
