Röhm Products of America offers a selection of end-of-arm robot tooling including the customizable RRMG synthetic gripper, said to offer 30 percent more clamping force than its predecessor for large-workpiece handling. The RRMG gripper has an optimized structure with reinforcements for maximum rigidity and long service life, the company says. Ideal for the secure gripping and clamping of complex, sensitive parts, the lightweight synthetic gripper has jaws with free-form surfaces that adapt to different workpiece geometries including round or prismatic shapes. The end-of-arm grippers are available in two sizes with gripping forces of 80 and 152 N respectively, and are customized according to 3D workpiece models. For maximum process control and automation, users can add optional position monitoring to the gripper via installable sensors.
