Northfield Precision’s Model 1000 sliding-jaw air chuck features a special top tooling and axial locator. With a 0.0001" TIR, the air chuck was designed for gripping small areas and features diamond-coated top jaws for security. The chuck’s axial locator is equipped with button pads and is used as a resting place for a workpiece’s flange, swallowing the rest of the part.
