KME CNC’s five-axis trunnion is designed to be integrated with existing equipment without size restrictions. Constructed similarly to the larger trunnions in the line, this compact unit is built of Meehanite cast iron and billet aluminum covers, and provides similar benefits to the larger units. The trunnion can be installed on existing equipment with no drive cards or other upgrades and is directly programmable through G code. The company says that this smaller trunnion can benefit medical-industry applications in particular.
