SMTCL-Americas has introduced the new EBC110 table-type boring mill, designed for manufacturers of large parts.
The machine features a 3,000-rpm CAT 50 spindle with a heavy-duty gearbox for high torque. The 110 mm (4.3") spindle also comes standard with a coolant-through design. It has Heidenhain scales on the X, Y and Z axes and a precision 49" × 55" full B-axis rotary table capable of holding 11,000 lbs. The machine features a box way design with XYZ travels of 78" × 59" × 47" and a spindle quill that provides an additional 21" of W-axis travel.
The EBC110 is controlled by a FANUC 0i-MD CNC with 10.4" screen, USB, PCMIA and Ethernet capabilities, and a Remote Manual Pulse Generator.
