Rush’s model FC-200D and model FC-500D polycrystalline tool grinders are designed for economical manufacturing and regrinding of PCD, CVD, PCBN, carbide and HSS tools. The machines grind angles and radii on turning and milling inserts, boring tools, milling cutters, grooving tools, reamers and other similar tools. A 3-hp variable-speed grinding spindle enables vibration-free grinding and fast stock removal, the company says.
The grinders feature a video optical system with 15 to 120× magnification, and a video camera moves with the worktable to ease setup and inspection during and after grinding operations.
