Schunk’s Tendo Platinum toolholder is designed for durability and precision in most milling, drilling and reaming applications. An improved brazing and hardening process in the same cycle enables rigid tool clamping. Constructed of high-grade tool steel, the holder is through-hardened to ensure long life and provide vibration damping. According to the company, the toolholder is balanced to G2.5 at 25,000 rpm and offers a precise run-out accuracy of less than 0.003 mm (0.0001") at 2.5× clamping diameter.
