Featuring a box-type construction, the V740 vertical CNC lathe is intended for accuracy and security during heavy cutting.

Specifications include a 31.50" swing over bed; a maximum turning diameter of 29.13" by 29.92"; an X-axis travel of 14.96"; a Z-axis travel of 29.53"; XZ rapid traverse of 787 ipm; and a 40-hp to 50-hp spindle drive motor that delivers 2,000 rpm, with 3,000 rpm as an option.

Other features include a tool indexing time of 0.04 seconds and a Fanuc 21iT CNC control system.

Also available is a twin-spindle model that has simultaneous and independent working of both spindles. This model features a Fanuc 18iT control. Other options include a chip conveyor, coolant system, automatic loading/unloading system and more.
