When used in tandem with the company’s pallets, the Robot Compact is designed to provide a level of streamlining and profitability to shop production programs. It is built to be slim enough to fit between two existing machines and serve them both with as many as 160 electrodes or small workpieces. It can move pallets as heavy as 66 lbs, and the transfer unit can swivel to the left, to the right or in both directions, as required. According to the company, the use of the robot speeds the throughput of workpieces in progress and provides time and energy savings.
